Mobile Radiology Australia, formerly Aged Care Imaging was our flagship service beginning in 2012 here in Melbourne. Borne out of the frustration of seeing aged care residents transferred to hospital for imaging, spending unnecessary hours waiting for return transport drove MRA to devise an efficient service to visit and perform these imaging examinations in the comfort and convenience of the patients place of residence.
The service began as a single X-Ray unit assisting just a couple of patients a week but has now grown to offer 3 X-Ray and a 2 Ultrasound units performing over 40,000 examinations across Melbourne over the past 9 years.
We love the fact that our service minimises the effort required to book, organise and transport residents for their imaging examinations and that it removes the stress for both the resident and their families. We look forward to continuing to assist the Melbourne community as we grow.
